從即日起，《精靈寶可夢GO》iOS版的AR功能將正式升級為「AR+」。玩家將iOS設備更新至iOS 11之後即可體驗更具臨場感的遊戲內容。
「AR+」基於Apple的ARKit框架，將可以使遊戲中的寶可夢以1:1的尺寸出現在屏幕上，當靠近一些體型較大的寶可夢時，玩家甚至需要仰望才能與其四目相交，大大增加了訓練師們的代入感。
在「AR+」模式中，玩家需要悄悄接近寶可夢，避免被寶可夢發現你已經盯上它了。
否則，就會引起寶可夢的警覺，並在屏幕中出現紅色感嘆號，甚至還會跑路。官方表示，這是遊戲AR進化的第一步，言下之意似乎在將來還有更多的新要素等待實裝，讓我們拭目以待吧。
