《Divine Gate》遊戲大致上可分為「探索」與「戰鬥」兩個部分來介紹。在探索的部份，玩家一開始可操縱棋子在地圖上進行探索，並以找到隱藏在格子中的鑰匙來打開關卡最後的門扉為最終目標。
